The Fair Oaks Manor
A CENTURY-OLD HOME REFRESH
Completed in 1927, this Tudor manor stood as a family home for nearly a century before its sale in 2020. Seeking to preserve its historic character while updating it for modern family living began a thoughtful restoration and redesign. Preserved details—mahogany doors, stone fireplaces, and iron windows—were carefully restored, while Scandinavian influences introduced lightness and clarity in honor of the new owners’ Swedish heritage.
The kitchen anchors the home with warmth: antique whites, amber woods, and an ivory Lacanche stove framed by brass accents and luminous mosaic tile. Elsewhere, soft-green cabinetry, handmade ceramics, and a Murano chandelier bring elegance to everyday spaces.
Reimagined yet true to its legacy, the manor steps into its second century with grace—where history and modern living meet in quiet balance.
